Help!

Just got a polstar bluetooth gps receiver and I need some help configuring it with Tomtom3. I already had tomtom installed on my ipaq before i got the polstar. I seem to have paired the devices in bluetooth manager. But when i go to gps my polstar doesn't appear in the list - should i be using a generic one?? Tomtom just thinks I don't have a gps device connected - please help!!!
