Putting street names into favourites?

Hi I'm having a really annoying problem. I've got UK postcode and I know that using this, you put in a postcode, then it shows the place and you can save that place as a favourite.

What I want to do is the same thing - ie. make the map show a location, but just using a street name (say, for eg. you don't have the postcode). This is without navigating.... I just want the places saved for later!!!

Can't figure out how to get the map to show a street without it navigating the whole route. At this stage, I just want to save a street name into my favourites. .......... arrrgh it's driving me mad!!! It should be easy!

Panic over... I've worked it out now. Typical. I have spent about 2 hrs on this honestly!!!
