Hello
I am the owner of a Globalsat BT308
I think the Bleutooth is defect, receiver is receiving, green light is blinking, but the blue light is off, only turns blue when I put the unit on, for 1 second, then stops. My Ipaq 2210 also does not see the unit. Can somebody please repair the BT308 for me?

Thanks
Tom

Where did you purchase the receiver?
Which country are you in?

You should be able to return it to the reseller.

Have you tried running BTRegTweak on your iPaq ???

If not, just search on the internet for btregtweak, and you will find it easily.

The 2210 seems to have problems with BlueTooth GPS's, in that it "drops" the connection to them very quickly.

BTRegTweak gets the 2210 to reconnect automatically, instead of you needing to keep doing it through BlueTooth Manager.

TBH - I have given up on my Navman 4420 that had the same problem, and have sent it back to the reseller for a refund.

I am now going for a BC307 (Compact Flash Type)

Hope I have helped a little

My BT308 has developed this same problem. Switch on and the blue led flashes for about 1 secm then nothing more. Did you ever get an explanation/fix for this?
