[b]I am new to GPS having recently bought the Tomtom 3 Dell Axim X5 satellite navigation kit. I am interested in the ad-on UKPOSTCODE but need to know what PocketPC under Windows Mobile 2003 means.
Is this the Windows which I have on the Dell Axim X5? Mobile, to me, means a mobile phone. Please excuse my ignorance but I am in my 70s and find the modern technology confusing at times!!!
I have installed Tomtom and have made a couple of practice runs locally and it works. There seems to be a few gremlins in the Tomtom program though - probably me!
To sum up - can I install the digitools UKPOSTCODE on the Dell Axim pocket pc? Any help would be appreciated. |

Yes, it's the same thing. It is also known as WM (Windows Mobile)2003, as it is used on 'mobile' devices. _________________ Tim |

Further to the above, I have visited digitools to download ukpostcode and found two options:-
. I'm using Pocket PC 2002
. I'm using Windows Mobile 2003.
I have looked at my Settings under ABOUT and this is what it says:-
Microsoft Pocket PC
Version 3.0.11171 (Build 11178)
c 1996-2001 Microsoft Corp
Which download option do I go for? Thanks. |
