IPAQ - missing Settings icons

When I use Settings now, my icons are missing!

On the Personal tab, there are no icons, no text - they've just disappeared

On the System tab the text appears, but where the icons should be it's blank (clicking on the blank space does launch the appropriate settings screen)!

On the Connections tab it lists the four options at the top of the screen without space for icons!!!

Help - how do I get back my Personal Settings options? how do I restore my icons? (Preferably without a hard reset, tho'if that's what it takes ...)

And does anyone know why it might have occurred?

A soft reset restored my icons ... !!!

We see you’re using an ad-blocker. We’re fine with that and won’t stop you visiting the site.
