PiN 300 and Memory-Map OS

Hi,
I have recently bought the Memory-Map OS 2004 mapping programs, mainly to use when walking, and have tried it out with my existing Garmin 12 GPS.( I use the Garmin 12 on my boat for basic routing and speed/position information.)
This is fairly limiting and although it could link to a Pocket PC I am a Palm user which is not compatible.

I saw the PiN 300 advertised on the Memory-Map website and have had a look around the web, found Tim Buxton's favourable review, (and incidentally this forum!) and it looks as if it would be suitable, and would also give me road navigation as well.

Any comments on this product or possible better alternatives would be appreciated.
