Hi
I'm running CoPilot Live 5 Bluetooth on an iPAQ 2210.
This cradle (which has speakers and its own GPS) comes with an install CD but I'm not sure what I should/need to install.
It is asking me to install:
* Winfast Navigator
* Winfast Navigator CE
* GPS USB Driver (which I presume I need if I want to use the cradle's GPS and not my own bluetooth one)
Can anyone offer some guidance?
Thanks

Jackie,
I have been running CP5 with a BT receiver on a Dell Axim and have just purchased a CR-100. All that was necessary for installation was to plug the PDA into the cradle, start CoPilot and select the COM1 receiver port (at 4800 baud rate) under the GPS Options/Setup GPS menu. The CR100 is giving excellent reception, good sound and a secure installation - just the job :D As a bonus there is no need to run the BT so two less flashing lights. _________________ Alan

Just out of curiosity, do you leave your cradle in the car or do you take it out when you're not using it? It just seems a bit tempting to thieves, given how much it costs etc! |

Jackie,
Unless it is a secure/trusted parking area the mount is removed from view - as you say, it looks tempting. I find it is best to remove the mount from the windscreen completely, also I think removing the cradle from the arm mounting plate will result in some wear and slop eventually. _________________ Alan
