bluetooth drops when starting navigation software

I am trying to get the medion navigator to work on my x50v. I am using a polstar PBT-111 bluetooth receiver. The blue light on the receiver glows constantly indicating a good bluetooth connection between the 2 units. As soon as i start the navigation software, the bluetooth connection is lost. I have to exit the programme, go into bluetooth manager and click on connect again.

it then holds the connection until i start the navigation software again.

Can anyone think if there a setting i need to adjust somewhere?
