i am missing something here ??

when entering route.

i put in the first 2 letter of the postcode, then go to the numbers entry.

i put in the number,

have to go back to the letter keyboard to put in a space !!!

then go back to the number entry to put in the next number.

is there an easier way of entering a space without having to go back & forwards between keyboards ?

thanks

Yep, it's a pain isn't it! I'm sure when I first got mine there was a space on the number pad but I added the Version1 patch (or whatever it's called) and it disappeared. I could be wrong though as I only played for a few minutes before adding the update.

I sent an email to navman asking them to add a space option into the special characters on the numeric keypad. Perhaps if more of us do it they will change it for the next update.

On the PPC version, once you've put in the first part of the postcode, say RH6, can then wait and the second part will appear as a dropdown list. Does this work on the iCN, as it will avoid having to put a space in?

Good point Tim, you can go to the next screen and pick from a list (nothing fancy like drop-downs!), but it would be useful to have that space button on the numeric screen all the same...
