Hi,

Have just joined your site to-night and I would welcome your recommendations for the best GPS to go for. This would be mainly for our motorhome which we use in the UK a lot and also for europe. I have read about the Navman 635 but know nothing about GPS.

Hello rapido,

I think that may be a loaded question, everybody will have a different opinion on what is best.

The Navman 635 you have suggested is quite expensive compared to the 510, but i do not know anything about those units at all, perhaps now i have said this you may get some feedback on them.

I would also have a look at the Garmin systems as I think may have an alternative type that can be battery powered out of the car, but i don't think the 635 can be powered via batteries.

I myself prefer to stick with a PDA all in one type unit as i also use it for email and other things.
