Does anyone know how to set preferences in nav 3 like you do in auto route, I find tt keeps trying to get me back to the main road when its better or shorter to stay on a back road ?
i have just set up the post codes and they work a treat |

The Properties screen Advanced tab has a section called Preferred speeds. Adjust these to change how TomTom chooses your routes. (To display Properties, tap the Navigator screen then choose More - More - Properties, or in any other screen just select File - Properties).
Personally I don't bother with that, I just ignore TomTom's advice if I want to go a different way. If that gets annoying, I just turn off sound or turn off guidance until I'm back on TomTom's suggested route. All the while wondering why I'm using a route navigation tool when I already know the best route myself... _________________ Barry Davies

And yes, you can select quickest or shortest route in the plan route section |
