shouldn't you be back praising plusnet for your great adsl connection rather than trying to get a date on a Friday night!
Want to come back and see my gps unit?

Damn I missed that one. One of the April Fools jokes we were going to run today was going to be that TomTom's CD Distribution Plant had burnt down, but I thought we might get quite a lot of flack back on that one |

Dave, I am shocked and disappointed that you should even consider such a cruel joke on members of this forum who hang on your every word!! I would have had a 'funny five minutes' and Hugh might well have ended up dead on the floor!

I ordered a GB Software Only from Tom Tom on their site yesterday and received the on screen and e-mail confirmations for payment etc. Interesting to see when it arrives.
By the way their price including VAT and delivery was Euro 178.95 which translated at £122.50 approx which is competetive compared to UK sources.

I too have ordered TTN2 direct from Tomtom on the 31st march - lets see what happens and (hopefully!) be surprised!!

An April fool like that would have finished me off. Thanks for your restraint.

Dave,
In your review you listed items that were still wrong in TTN2. One of these was
"Fleet (Hants) shown as Fleet (Harts)"
I think that possibly it shows as Fleet (Hart), as in TTN1, which is correct as long as you know that Fleet in Hampshire is in the Hart Local Authority Area. Similarly, Farnham in Surrey shows as Farnham (Waverley) and Farnborough in Hampshire shows as Farnborough (Rushmoor).
I would prefer the towns to show with the County name after them because the Local Authority Area names are not widely known. Is there any way of changing this in TTN2?
Richard

Dave
How does TTNav2 let you AVOID between two motorway junctions i.e if accident between jnct 13 and 14 of M6 - does it list all junctions or just Avoud M6?

Rob, it's avoid the complete road not just one or more junctions. In theory you could tell it to avoid the motorway then when you're past the junction you believe the accident is at, unavoid it and hopefully it will then try to re-route you back onto the motorway. |

Need to add this to the wish list unless the livewire solution comes out first.

Darren,
Yes, I live in Farnham close to the border with Aldershot. Fleet is very close.
