I have 'installed' all maps (Fr, Ger, It, Sp, Po, Ho, Be) to PC folder and then via card reader direct to 1Gb (bytestor) SD card. TomTom cannot find the maps although they are all present when checked by File Explorer. Any way of getting TomTom to recognise them? |

Are you sure all of individual files of each map have been copied.
I had a problem copying some maps using a file reader and in the end copied them straight to my PDA. Yes it takes ages but might be worth trying with one of the maps. |

Turn on viewing of all hidden files on your computer before copying! _________________ Gunnar Nystul, Forum Admin, TomTom Forum Norway and Nystul Navigasjon |

Sorted. Problem was with the 1Gb Bytestor SD Card. Transferring files from PC to 512Mb Viking SD Card via card reader (very quickly) proved to be no problem and worked on TomTom straight away.
Thanks for your replies.
