Got everything working more all less now with my IPAQ 4150 and ClipOn but still no sound. I've read the FAQ's and checked as many posts as I can but still no joy.

In Program Files I've the main 'Navigator' folder in which are all the commands and 2 TomTom Navigator Files One 1.36 Mb the other 50b. Also in Program Files is a folder called 'TomTom' in which are 4 files:
NavCmd001, NavCmd002 and 2 called Navigator, one 429b the other 1.75k. All the maps stuff is on the SD card.

On installation I downloaded TTN3 and TTNGPS (both 3.07) from the TomTom website and then installed the Female UK English voice commands from the software CD. All were installed into main memory in the default folders.

Unfortunately I've no voice output (even the test in properties doesn't work) although everything else to do with TTN3 from postcode finder and CheckPOInt and the camera overlays works fine.

Am I missing something obvious as usual?

Any help would be much appreciated.

Found the answer by trial and error. In PDA 'Settings' 'Sounds and Notifications' the check box for 'enable sounds for programs' wasn't checked. Obviously never needed it before as music files and games etc had played ok.

Sorry to keep posting questions and then finding the answer almost straight away but if it helps someone else avoid my pitfalls then hopefully it won't annoy too many people.
