PocketPC vs Magellan (Or others)

I just purchased a Magellan Meridian Color. My question is, what do you all feel about a dedicated handheld like this versus a pocketpc setup. I am leaning towards selling this and getting a pocketpc setup. My purpose for buying one is for driving and also atv'ing and snowmobiling.

Pocket PCs are very good for in-car use, and street navigation. They are less robust than handhelds when it comes to the outdoors. If you can, keep the Magellan for your sports activities, and get a Pocket PC setup for the rest. If the Magellan has a serial interface you can even use it as a serial GPS for the Pocket PC.
