POIEdit: Autoupdate Manager problems

Using POIEdit, I can update POIs from Pocketgps and Poihandler, but am having problems with POIPlace. When I try to use POIplace by clicking on http://poiplace.oabsoftware.nl/index.php in the top left of Autoupdate Manager I get: 'Site information of http://poiplace.oabsoftware.nl/index.php has not yet been downloaded. Do you want to download it now?'. Clicking on Yes produces: 'Could not retrieve file-time on server.'.

Could anyone offer suggestions on a solution? Is, for example, the address http://poiplace.oabsoftware.nl/index.php which POIEdit is using correct: the others end .xml rather than .php?

Searched Google but there's nothing on there. Is this a 'one off' or is there anyone else who cannot synchronise with POIPlace using this method?
