TT3 off-road ?

Hi, hope no-one wallops me for asking what may seem to be a daft question, but here goes: -

I use my ipaq 2210 and (wired) TT3 in my car (a Y/01 Citroen Picasso), all well so far. However is there any configuration where I can use my ipaq, TT3 GPS unit and someone elses s/w & maps for off road use (preferably on foot) ?

You can use that configuration with a number of different software packages as long as the GPS stays within reach of a 12v Cigar power source. ie in the car off-roading or at sea in a boat or similar.

Unfortunately you need the 12v power supply for the GPS to work. You could of course buy a cheap BT GPS and then use that with the 2210 for foot adventures.
