I'm running TTM on a C500 with no problems, I've downloaded the traffic update & have a valid username & password, but how do you enter the usermane & password into TTM?
The Traffic icon on the menu system is greyed out, and there appears to be no other traffic opion?

You willl have to have a working GPRS connection on your phone for that icon to be accessible. _________________ Lutz

Thats what I thought, and I do have a working GPRS connection as I'm downloading my email no problems at all?
My only remaining thought is do I need to be connected to my PC to initiate the activation. If so I'm away from home and this maybe a problem? |

No, no PC connection is required.
What version of the program are you using? (press 5-6-6-6-2 to find out) _________________ Lutz

I had exactly this problem on my i-mate SP3i (essentially the same as the c500 under the hood) and it turned out to be that I wasn't using the TomTom Wireless GPS. Once I deleted the pairing with my Fortuna and then set it up with the TT GPS, then it was fine and I could select Traffic and sign in.
TT Support confirm that this can happen even if you are not using a 3rd Party GPS. They suggested I deleted the paired GPS and set up the pairing again, this would enable the traffic option.
Interestingly, once traffic was setup it continued working even when I used the Fortuna but I renamed it to be a TomTom Wireless GPS. Now I can use it in my car or my wife's without swapping GPS chargers and cabling.
Hope this helps.

I'm also stuck at this stage now. I have installed the traffic plugin and come to the login screen on TTM. However my username has an "@" symbol in it as they seem to use your email as the username.......and I can't get this symbolo up so I am snookered.
Its probably an easy one, but holding the * button to access symbols does not work on this screen.....anybody got a clue for one of the clueless |

Just for everyone else's sake - your Traffic user name is not your email address. Your Traffic user name and password should be available in the Traffic section of My TomTom.

Must admit after reading thorugh their instructions they don't make it very clear that your username and your registered name are the same. Anyway, all registered and must admit its a very nice service, shame I couldn't get the gear delievred in time to make use of their cheap sub offer over Xmas. |
