recording poi warnings

hi people i was wondering if it is possible to record your own poi warning sounds..ie..speed cameras etc as im getting rather bored with poi warning sounds supplied with tom tom v4.400..would appreciate any advice on how to go about this i am using an ipaq rz1710 gps package... Confused

So far this is not possible - first we need to crack the DATA.CHK file format. (That's where the nonverbal sounds are stored, together with all the strings)

You can create your own DATAxx.CHK files from OGG sounds - but that doesn't help you much, does it?
