Hi all,

I am at present looking to buy a second hand car, I use my Tom Tom such alot I would hate for it not to work.

I know some cars windscreens stop a dash top receiver from working but I was wondering if we have a definitive list of which cars have that kind of windscreen.

This would help me in deciding what ca to buy.

Probably the easiest thing to do is take along your GPS setup and try it in whatever car you plan to buy.

If you happen to get a car with an athermic windscreen, an external or re-radiating antenna will sort out the problem, so it's not a disaster.
