Has anyone got the "your family can track your position" working from the UK?

I've registered, I've sent a tracking number and site URL and all that can be seen is a map of the USA. Not so handy for deepest Essex (UK).

Can send messages from the above tracking number site to the Handheld, can click an associated button and see the reply on Live (nifty seeing as I have no in car equipment) but position tracking? Forget it.

Have a Mio 168 and CoPilot 5.

Paul

You need to be tracking using http://live.alk.eu.com but they have recently upgraded the software on the server recently and since then I haven't been able to do any tracking, I need to test it again but I'm laid up in bed with some kinda lurgy Rolling Eyes

THANKS Dave,

That URL hit the spot!

Messaging did not work, but the tracking by ID number did.

As I am working from inside my house I'll try again later from the car. Now on the right track, thanks a lot.

OK so this might explain why I can't send messages using CoPilot Live 5, even when my iPAQ is docked in the cradle using active sync, although I did have this work with CoPilot Live 4. So will stop hassling Technical support at ALK about this issue now.
Haven't tried vehicle tracking, be interesting to see if that works.
Wish they would get this Live traffic reporting sorted, now I have my GPRS settings sorted on my PDA and mobile phone. Been told it should be sometime this Spring but I aint holding my breath.
On the Live traffic subject I note in Dave Burrows review, that he has a tab along the bottom which says traffic and, that he has selected "get guidance only" and "default incident ignore" also "speak incidence guidance only". I don't get any of this with my version, don't even get the traffic tab.
