POI Query On Tom Tom Mobile

I am trying to get petrol stations to show on route. I have selected them in the enable POI section and when i view a map i see the locations of petrol stations on the map, however these petrol stations do not show up on route, do i need to do anything else to be able for them to appear on route? This also happens for the speed cameras, though not all the time, i have warnings set up for these, and i went through the a certain speed camera 3 times in one day, the first time the warning went off, the other 2 times it did not, is this normal, am i expecting too much from the software? As a newbie to sat nav software i am not quite sure what to expect.

This is a three step process

- First you need to Generally enable POI display. Press 5 and check that the list item 4 says "Hide POI"
- Then you need to "switch on" - enable certain POI groups. Press 5-6-5-1 and enable the POI group you are interested in
- Lastly, for the POI alert, press 5-6-5-4 and specify the alert distance as well as the onroute/near route flag.

And THEN there seems to be a bug in the app that is periodically hiding the POIs. Press 6-2-Options-4 and make sure POI are selected to be shown.

Easy, isn't it ?...

Yep it all seems so easy :D

Unfortunately everything you advised me to do i did but all the items where set as you said. But the petrol stations still dont show up on route, just on the overall route map

Maybe the map data is corrupt in your area. In my maps the gas stations (...) show fine.
