Recommendation Needed

Hi, i am new to the site and have just also recently purchased an iPaq 2210 with the intention of buying some Sat. Nav software. BEcause i am new to this technology the only one i am aware of really is TomTom.

I am not necessarily looking for GPS, I would settle for street maps of the uk. Does anyone on here have any recommendations as to what I should get?

It's no accident that TomTom Navigator is well known, because it's a popular choice. However, there are other good alternatives.

If you say a little more about what you may be looking for and what you want to do with it, people may be able to make some suggestions.
