I don't know what I'd do without you guys/gals:

I have downloaded the Post Code software from Niels Thomsen's Digitools web site.
The instructions tell me there are 5 files once unzipped. It then proceeds to tell me what to do with only 3 of them! ie

Copy TTNControl.arm.cab file to My DOcuments and then double tap to install it.
Copy UKpostcode and ukpostcode.exe onto storage card.

Create short-cut and Bobs your Aunty.

Didn't work and, like when assembling an Ikea cupboard, I have two files left on the carpet:
TTNControl.ini and setup.exe.

What should I have done with these? Am I being stupid?
Cheers

Make a directory on your storage card, call it Postcode or something.

Copy UKpostcode.exe and UKpostcode.dat to the folder on the storage card.

Create a shortcut to UKpostcode.exe in the \Windows\Start Menu directory.

(I then assigned one of the buttons to the postcode program so I can bring it up easily in navigator)

If you already have a TomTom plug-in installed, like CheckPOInt, you can ignore everything else, it should work.

If you don't, you need to run the setup.exe, so it installs the TomTom plug-in file.

If you dont have any TomTom

Done that. Installed ukpostcode.exe and .dat into a folder on storage card.
Created shortcut OK.Shortcut appears on menu but nothing happens when I click it.
Did a file search for Checkpoint but don't appear to have it.
So have tried to dump TTNControl.arm.cab in XDA's My documents and double clicked it.
You say to click Setup......is that on my PC ? -it just asks me which software I want to install/delete and gives me a list of programme.
The final (5th) piece of the jigsaw - the TTNControl.ini what do I do with that?
Sorry to trouble you but this is driving me mad (ish)
Its the O2 XDAIIs I am using here.
Thanks

Checkpoint is a completely seperate program used for alerting you to POI's, but it installs the TomTom plug in thing itself. Might be worth installing it to see if it helps, then you can ignore setup.exe and the .ini files completely http://checkpoint.oabsoftware.nl/index.php
