TT3 upgrade offer now over - roll on tt4!

ttn3 upgrade ended on 1/12/04 per tomtom

So how long befroe the announcement of version 4? - time to get this forum alive with lots of moans and groans once again as they screw up then fix the new version.

If previous experience is anything to go by - late April or May - but we may be surprised.


It's possible that the next product will not be called Navigator 4 - as Navigator 4 already exists. Navigator 4 is the NavCore based product used only in the HP Navigation Pack. At the moment, that code is rather lacking in features compared to Navigator 3, but TomTom have said, understandably, that NavCore is the way ahead.

It seems that the next release will be a new USA product called Navigator 2004 - which is apparently going to be a NavCore based product. It remains to be seen how that program compares to the one used in the HP Navigation Pack and to Navigator 3.
