Sorry all
You must have been asked this 100s of times. : 8O
I have just bought a T3 and TTN, How can I get the Safety Camera POI database on my T3/TTN.
I am a total novice at PDAs and TTN so any description must be basic
I have tried TOMTOM support with little or no satisfaction :x
Many Thanks |

Follow the instructions here
http://www.pocketgpsworld.com/uksafetycameras.php
for the TomTom Go (the method is the same for the Go and the Palm).

Thanks Glen
I have updated to TT 4.40 and tried to follow the instruction you pointed to but it will not install these files quoting "there is no application on the handheld to open these files"
Any ideas ????
Thanks

I assume you're using the Palm (Quick)Install tool? It only "knows" about .pdb and .prc files (the 2 sorts Palms have historically used), hence the error.
Use a card reader to put the files in the Great_Britain_Navigator directory that your maps are in on the SD card. This is also far faster than doing it via HotSync.

See my other post (they probably crossed!) - put them on the SD card, not the Palm.
