Hi All,

I've just bought a Tomtom reciver but as yet have not installed it with the
Ipaq as Its arriving tommorow DOH!!

I have powered the reciver in the car and the little green light flashes.
Is this becuase its not recieved a decent signal or because its not
connected to the Ipaq??
I'm guessing that the green light will go solid when it has a decent signal
and is connected to the Ipaq qith the software installed.

have I got this right?
Any help appriciated

Cheers

Paul

Hi Paul,

Welcome to the forum. Thumbs Up

Which receiver have you bought? The wired receiver, or the Bluetooth one?

I started off with the wired TomTom receiver (which is actually a rebadged Leadtek). However I haven’t used it for a while, as I now use Bluetooth, so I can’t remember the sequence of lights. Embarassed

However, I think the light glows orange whilst it’s acquiring the satellites and then flashes green when it has acquired the satellites.

Regards,

Hi MAte

Its the wired version to be connected to an IPAQ 3850...When it arrives.

I've just been out to chech and it goes solid for 10 seconds or so the continues to flash.

This sounds promising Smile

Cheers
