As per previous post, reinstalling tt3 got my voice prompt back. Switch on today and now it cannot find the map, which is still there on the cf card as yesterday. Even using the sprite backup made yesterday did not work. Reinstalled the application only, and now back to normal. As my kids would say, my head is cabbaged. |

You can use the same method (registry editing) to get your maps back. _________________ Lutz

Thanks, but I used the normal method of installation and only directed acvtivesync to load on to storage card which should be no problem, i.e. it worked ok for 24 hours. Anyway, the maps are always on storage cards, so why is this happening? |

The TomTOm registry branch has a pointer to the map location. If that location changes for any reason (for example you changed the name of the folder) then the pointer draws a blank and TomTom doesn't find the maps any more.
Please also note that the map folders MUST end with "..Navigator Map" to be picked up by the program automatically during disk scan. _________________ Lutz
