Not me, tomtom3. Everything was ok, until my son had a play with my ipaq. May be a coincidence, but the voice no longer works. Reinstalled the lot, this time on to cf card as I didn't know you could do this before finding this forum. Still no joy. Have checked that voice is enabled, even changed to male and loaded wav files on to the ipaq, but no noise. The ipaq sound still works, i.e. the wav files play on the media player. Any thoughts? |

If you are familiar with a registry editor you can correct the registry yourself. The process is described in my recent article on running TomTom off storage card. _________________ Lutz

Have you tried testing the voice?
Go to Ma view then File/Properties/Navigation. Adjst the volume and press the test button. |

Had another go at reloading, this time it worked. No clue as to what went awry in the first place. Did a backup with sprite in case of future mishaps. |
