Hi,
Still new to all of this.
Have XDA & Tomtom.
Have downloaded CheckPOI and the new database.
Yet when I go into Overlay settings/properties I cannot update any of the settings. What am I doing wrong?

Hi Karl,
I am still using CheckPOInt v2 but as far as I know v3 behaves the same way.
1. When you start CheclPOInt do you see a list of files with extensions .OV2
2. Tap one to select it. The Properties button at the bottom of the screen should now be enabled.
3. Tap the button to move to the next screen.
4. Check the DetectPOI's from this overlay box.
5. Tap the First warning tab to more to the associated screen.
6. Fill in the details.
7. Select Speed warning and Last warning tabs in turn and set your preferences.
8. Tap the OK button to save your changes (the X buuton will discard your changes).
9. Tap OK to exit CheckPOInt.
I have numberr the stages so that your can say at which stage you have trouble. Please describe what you see on the screen at that stage.

Thanks for his.
I can see now what the problem is, but do not know how to solve it.
I do not have the checkbox option showing on any of the checkPOI screens. I have the icon and words but not the box. Therefore I cannot put a tick in the box as it is not there!
I have tried reinstalling but this has made no difference.
Any thoughts please?

I have just searched the forums using "xda AND checkpoint" and it would seem that CheckPOInt will run on an XDA.
As I do not have an XDA I am sorry but I cannot help sort out your problem.
