As a new user to TomTom Navigator (I have version 3), I would like to know if it is possible to show place names on TomTom as you are drivng along. I'm not sure if there is anything I should 'tick' or 'cross' in settings or if I need to download a relevant POI. Its handy to know what road you are on but good to know where you are as well.
Appreciate any help, thanks. |

I think its only possible if you are driving along with "Hide Map" selected and no route planned, so its just tracking you. |

If you are referring to the on map road names facility, that is not available in TT3 Navigator Mode. This option is available on TomTom GO, Palm and Mobile versions.
The next version of TomTom for the PocketPC should introduce this functionality as it is moving to the same navigation engine as the other devices. _________________ Darren Griffin |
