Thinking of replacing my CF Pretec with a bluetooth to run TTN3.

So what does the panel think is the best one?

My personal opinion: The DeLorme Blue Logger because it has 50 000 data points

You may want to rethink your question. "What is the best receiver" is too vague. What do you want to use it for? What is important for you?

It all depends on whether you want rock solid reliability (in terms of no returns) to battery life, just as Lutz says.

Personally the GlobalSat/DConnex I take with me on most journeys now due to the extended battery. However if I want something a little slimmer, then the EMTAC ould be my second choice.

Thanks for all your comments..

To be more descriptive, it is moving between cars has been the issue...

At least with a Bluettoth one I do not need to worry about recabling as I do now as my Pretec is lousy without the external aerial.

So it will be car based, not behind a reflective screen, occassionaly used on flights (I have a helicopter pilots licence) and needs to see the sky a damn sight better that the Pretec ever was...
