advice on solution for navigation/traffic info/geocaching

Hi everyone,
Just looking for some advice before I purchase a sat nav solution for navigation/traffic info/geocaching in the UK.

My ideal solution would be a C500 with (Fortuna BT Clip-on?) and Co-Pilot Smartphone that also enables me to try out geocaching.
because
C500 - Its a small smartphone that is supported by Co-Pilot
Fortuna BT Clip-on - It keeps cropping up as a good BT receiver
Co-Pilot - Like the mapping and the Traffic info will be invaluable when it is released (M62 traveller)
Geocaching - Because it looks like fun.

However I'm not wedded to any particular element but I would prefer a smartphone solution to a PPC one as it means one less thing to carry around and my phone is due an upgrade and this will save me some £££ .

I've hunted around but can find no definative answer to these questions:
Can you enter a lat/long using Co-Pilot smartphone?
Is there any PPC GPS software that works on Smartphone 2003?
Would I be better getting a C500/Fortuna/Co-Pilot solution for the car and a handheld GPS for geocaching?
Has anyone got any better ideas?
