Help! any advice welcome. I'm new

I am thinking of purchasing a Medion PNA100 (replaces the MDPPC 250) from Halfords (any comments?) as I require a unit that I can use for walking as well as cycling plus being able to use it as a navigator in my car, this was recommended as it had good battery power, not too worried about the PC side of it but I can't find any reviews and being new to the game I am not sure how things work, for example "how does one enter extra items into the unit" like Safety Camera Info when the MMC card already holds map info (or does it?), also can this sort of info be entered to all PDAs with GPS navigation? Sorry to be so thick but we all have to start somewhere so any info would be appreciated especially on the PNA100. Many thanks in advance
