I have downloaded the speed camera data base unzipped and copied then pasted the files within the great britian folder. The problem I have is since doing this the voice instructions when navigating keeps on repeating itself and the whole programme has slowed down and become unstable. the files I down loaded was the 4 bmp files and the 4 ovp files copied and pasted them. I have since deleted them from the storage card but has not cured the strange voice problem. Could any one help

Did you post this in another thread? If not then another user has a similar issue on the 6600. I suspect the limited processing power of the 6600 is the cause here when monitoring multiple POIs.
To confirm, remove all but the GATSO database and test, if all is OK then add each the other POI databases one by one and test in between.
It takes quite a bit of processing power to monitor a POI for proximity alerts, asking it to monitor 3 or more is quite a lot to ask, whilst the MS Smartphones seem to cope with 3, the 6600 has a less powerful processor and it may be straining hence the symptoms. _________________ Darren Griffin |

If I told you I'd have to shoot you. No news as yet and as we're under NDA I'm not able to discuss it anyway ;) _________________ Darren Griffin |

I am having exactly the same problem as you do davey (sure it's on 6600). I will try Darren's advice. Thanks everyone. |
