To use TomTom traffic over BT/GPRS I need a wired GPS receiver because I understand the ipaq can't communicate with the phone and the GPS simultaneously.

My reading of the data on this site is there isn't a lot to choose between wired GPS receivers. The Leadtek 9532 looks OK. However, am I right in thinking that the TomTom wired receiver is the same thing? - this can be bought on eBay or Amazon for £65 whereas the 9532 (from a different source) is more like £100.

Can anyone comment on whether there is any difference in quality between these units? - or is there another wired GPS which I should consider?

Also, I am looking at a wired car mount/holder for the ipaq 2210. The choice is between the TomTom 2210 car kit and the Brodit holder with built-in connector.

The Brodit looks neater compared with the TomTom holder which has the two connections sticking out either side.

But the TomTom comes with a choice of two power connectors (hard wired and cigar lighter connector). The Brodit doesn't come with either, so I would have to get a lead set from somewhere to connect power and GPS to the brodit.

Any advice/recommendations would be appreciated!

I have IPAQ 2210 but Destinator 3, I now use a wired Globalsat seems best I've had, very small and neat and mag mount for roof.
I use a Seidio Mount, hard wiring cable available but comes with cigar plug as standard, also adaptor for ps2 wired GPS. Seido web site easiest place to see details, they also can supply their branded wired GPS
