Have friend has just purchased a tom tom go form pc world in Bolton
had a few problems setting it up and took it back to pc world in bolton and the manager of the store informed them.. that the satellite's were down and the engineer was working on them??? confused or what |

Is it April 1st in Bolton?
Seriously though it is unlikely that all 24 sats would be down at the same time. _________________ Ian.

Actually there are now 30 satellites in orbit. A minimum of 24 are required for the system to be fully operational .
The current GPS status can be found on this page updated daily.
There is actually one satellite currently unusable due to repositioning maintenance... _________________ Ian.

Yes there is one sat down, but it is not affecting coverage in the UK. |
