Has anyone managed to get TT Traffic to connect to a bluetooth phone on the 4700.
I have tried 2 different phones (P800 and T68i) and cannot get Traffic to connect I just get the message to check my internet connection.
I can connect to the internet via the phone using the BT manager app that came with the 4700.
On my 2210 I used a Audiovox CF card and that work ok, but wanted to avoid keep plugging and unplugging the Audiovox and CF memory card on the 4700.
Can anybody recommend a phone that does work with TT traffic and the 4700?

Hi,
I have recently bought a 4700 and I have a Nokia 6310i phone.
I configured my phone though the BT Manager application and it works a treat.
I am on O2 I set it to automatically connect now when BT Manager is run and I don't have a problem at all.
Are you sure you are on Web and now Wap with your connection?
TTT I'm sure does not work on a wap connection.
If you want to post a little more about your provider etc. I might be able to help further.
Just out of interest have you tried to update the traffic when the 4700 is in the cradle connected to your desktop PC? That should at least prove that you can get updates ok and narrow the problem down to your mobile internet connection. |

I have managed to get it working with a T68i a couple of day ago since upgrading TTT to the latest version released a little while ago.
Thanks for the feedback

TomTom are dropping the old Traffic server. The email from TomTom says that you must have at least Navigator 3 3.06T installed - but this may be a typo for 3.05T. Older versions, such as 3.03T and 3.04T will stop working.
The latest version of Navigator with Traffic is 3.07T, which can be had from support.tomtom.com.
