tom tom 3 will not find places ?? help !!

hi there all

once again me !
as before i got ipaq 1940 with tomtom3
when i put a place in to navigate to it will not find the street!

i put in the city , for example reading. then attempt to put in street name ie tinsley close , and tinsley close does not come up , how ever i put it in !
which seems very stupid .

if i then search on the map and look for it i find it , which is good .

anyone got any ideas why it does not find it in the street section ??
am i doing something worng ?

it does it with most places i look for !

Try putting in 'Earley' as the City.

An alternative train of thought if you know the postcode you could always use Niels Thomsen's postcode navigation aid.

Treat suburbs like cities, for example Lower Earley instead of Reading input as your city will quickly find Tinsley Close. I have found several peculiarities like this and finally decided to download the excellent postcode program by Niels Thomsen; smartest thing I ever did (my job entails finding up to four or five obscure addresses daily, and this program has never let me down yet). oh dear !

i have downloaded the files , and opened them through explorer in active sync, but it wont let me copy them to it ?

just does not give the option to paste it there ?

any ideas ?
