Looking for support,
I have a Dell Axim 5 and connecting the 303MMF was no problem works with TT2, Memory Map and PS's, easy bit over :D
So the Hiacom comes with a few cable to connect the unit to a laptop and use it as a mouse receiver, the handbook is very poor but I worked out that the split d-type and PS2 have to be connected for power ans signalling then the receiver is plugged into the spare PS2 trailling lead. Receiver lites and the LED flashes to show satellite lock, I then load the drivers or what i believe are the drivers. In the supplied CD there are all the Hiacom heads plus a few other files, opening the 303MMF entering the driver folder one driver is labeled as XPSER I assumed that was XP Serial, loaded using add new hardware and I get a microsoft error Code 10, using Autoroute it scans the ports and tells me no GPS reciever can be found, I have reconfigured the port to try different comm ports but the same occurs.
Would I be able to use the mini connector to PS2 and then plug in a PS2 - USB convertor and connect that way? Discarding the split d-type / PS2 lead

Any help / guidance would be appreciated

Steve

New to GPS but love my Axim :P
