Is 3-4 hrs a normal amount of time to charge the battery from empty?
Im sure it only used to take about 2 hrs.

is the device switched off during charging? If not then it can certainly take longer. _________________ Lutz

No, it was turned off.
But i must add that charging with in-car charger seemed to take about 2 hrs. But its when charging through the pc(usb) that it seems to take between 3+4 hrs, is this normal? |

Yes. A standard USB port delivers about 500 mA, whereas the default charged gives more in the range of 1.5 - 2 A . Therefre charging from USB will take longer.
Some PocketPCs like the iPAQ 6315 even allow you sto specify the type of USB charging - slow (according to spec) or Fast (overdrawing, requesting more than 500 mA) _________________ Lutz
