I have just bought a fast car after years of driving a shed. I am trying to find a speed camera warning system for my Palm T3 with Tomtom Bluetooth Navigator 3. I have looked everywhere and tried installing a couple of things but no Joy. I have asked Tomtom and they just pointed me to another part of this site where Nav1 & 2 and Pocket PC are supprted but not my stuff. Can anyone help or do I have to go and buy a separate speed camera device. Am I being dumb or was it a mistake to buy the newest and the best?????

TomTom Navigator 3 for PalmOne doesn't support the custom POIs and warnings :-(
However a new TomTomGo software version wsa just released that does exactly what you are asking (see the TomTom POI feature on this site) and hopefully the Palm update won't be too long in coming. (Mike, any news?)
In the meantime you could look at GPSRadar which does POI warning and is fine as long as you know where you are going ;-)

Am in EXACTLY the same boat as Mike-Mazda!
Have just bought a 300bhp Galant VR4 and wanted to ensure that I wasnt goint to lose my license by missing a revenue generator, i mean safety camera....
Miserably as Falkien stated, no importable POIs on Palm navigation software.. looks like my T3 will have to stay in the glove box... :x

How will you avoid the temporary roadside speed traps?
methinks this is just a "I have a fast car" bragging thread. They have a forum on www.smallpenis.com which might be more suited. |
