|

Has anyone worked out how to play the Tomtom Go voice commands on an external device - in my case, headphones on a motorbike? Tomtom won't give any advice.
And, following on from that, has any one successfully mounted one on a motorbike (and how)?
Thanks |

The underside of the GO has a number of connectors for external devices. The first one released was the external aerial.
I believe there are plans for a car kit to wire it into the car audio, this implies that there will be audio connectors on there as well. The problem is getting a multipurpose mount with a headphone socket.
The mount itself is made by a German company who manufacturer a lot of the mounts seen on the market today. The end of the arm is a specific TomTom development, but the rest of the mount I think is common. I have just checked the website and there are no suitable mounts for a bike at the moment. _________________ Mike Barrett |

Mike, thanks. What is the name of the company that makes the plugs? I can probably wire it from there.
Alternatively, maybe the Pro car-mount will be adaptable ... Have you heard anything about when it might be released?
