I have an iPaq 3835 and a Navman 3400 GPS Sleeve for it. Its not wireless, and I believe it uses Serial Com 6.
Now the GPS Status thing that comes with TomTom can see 5-8 Satelites, it can tell me how fast I am going and what direction. It also says 3D with the correct date/time, Lon/Lat, and the little dots are constantly downloading information.
However in TomTom 2 whenever I select a location it always says GPS Position Unreliable.
After "messing" around between Smart ST and TomTom I was able to get TomTom to work for a few hours yesterday but nadda today.
thanks in advance

COM6 sounds strange. Normally the jackets are on COM4.
But then again you have TomTom which can create all kinds of troubles. Try to downgrade the TomTom GPS driver from what you currently use to version 2.07 (available from our downloads page) _________________ Lutz

I actually have the latest drivers and everything, same issue. The GPS Info shows my direction, speed and everything, however the actual TomTom navigation thing doesn't display it.
What are my alternatives, will Microsofts Streets and Trips work with GPS? |

The latest drivers are no good. You need the old 2.07 driver.
Microsoft Streets and Trips? You must be kidding. That's a toy, not a software. _________________ Lutz

According to your initial post you are also using SmartST.
Nevertheless, I do recommend you to go back to TomTOm GPS 2.07 . Take this advice or leaveit - it's of course up to you. _________________ Lutz
