Hi,

Forgive me for the subject i wanted to get everybody attention Wink
Has anybody ever managed to get Tomtom software to work on a Pocket PC that has built in GPS?
My Pocket PC uses COM2 (4800 Baud)
I don't want to waste my money buying Tomtom software if it won't detect the GPS.

Specs.

MircoSoft Pocket PC
Version WinCE 4.20.0 (build 145053)
Processor: Intel PXA255
PDA PocketPC2003, Strongarm

Hope you can help.

Pete. Smile

perhpas you should post the make and model for specific help!

You should have no problems but once you list the model I'm sure someone with first hand experience will offer help.

I would think it will work.

I may be wrong here but can't you download the GPS portion of TomTom Navigator from the TomTom web-site (3.03) and then configure it your devices NMEA settings? If so, you will either see the dotsd going across the screen (working) or not.

I've not tried testing that way, but its got to be wroth a shot before you buy the full software.
