Update doesn't work

Hi,

I am running an IPAQ 3970 with a 256mb Kingston SD Card

I have installed Tom Tom 3.01 and copied the maps onto the SD card which worked fine, registered the product and got it working.

I have now added the 3.03 Update and when I try to run the application it says I have no maps installed.

Machine is running pocket PC 2002

Any help greatly appreciated

Using a registry editor (for example from PHM.lu) see what the TomTom registry branch says.

The map folder name must end in "Navigator Map" for TomTom to find it.

Do you also have a jacket with a card slot? I sometimes get this, my 3970 has an SD slot onboard (as yours has) as well as a CF slot in the expansion jacket. I normally leave an SD card in for backups etc. Sometimes, for no apparent reason, the names of the cards get swapped, so StorageCard becomes StorageCard2 and vice-versa. This totally confuses TomTom and POI Warner, until I take out the SDcard and Reset the iPaq.
