OMG what have i done?

been on my hol's, got back to find my 2210 with tt3 has lost tt! switched it on and it tried to launch tt but all i got was the little circle that comes on when tt launches but thats it. i tried syncro with my pc but it makes no difference. it seems the battery drained in 10 days and i lost everything.
How do i cure it, and stop it happening again. Where's the little back up battery that saves the memory when the main battery goes flat?

Or am i such a dumb ass i'm doin something wrong?

To stop it happening again, keep your battery topped up! The backup battery is only a short term (10 mins, half an hour, something like that) which allows you to change the main battery without losing your data. Oh, and perform regular backups to the iPAQ filestore (which doesn't lose its data in the event of a hard reset) or a memory card. That way, if your main battery does go flat again, it's easy to restore your original data.
