|
|
Just bought a TomTom Go, which seems great but the first few roads i typed in (UK) i dont seem to get any matches for!!!
Roads/Villages in Dorset, Sheffield, Nr Melton Mowbray, and Watford all dont come up?!?
Also secondly is there a way of bypassing the "navigate to" range of options? as in do i have to put in CITY, then STREET etc?
Can i just jump to Postcode only if i know it? Surely that should pinpoint roughly the Road/Street i want to get to?
I have version 4.4.00 and installed the full UK map 101mb, but are they still updating the maps for the UK?
Thanks in advance |

You can type in a short version of the post code, ie, FY1 1 and then (from memory) I think it lists all roads in the FY1 1 area, alternatively you can download the post code files off one of the pages on this site. Can't remember exactly where though. |
