Can someone tell me if the Tomtom Navigator 3 works for laptops?
I haven't seen any reference at all in the software?
(If not Tomtom, then what software does work with laptops?)
Thanks.

Yep, I know someone who uses it, just checked Help file in Autoroute 2002.....
Quote: | About GPS receivers
With a Global Positioning System (GPS) receiver connected to your computer, you can see your current location on the AutoRoute map. When you have a GPS receiver installed, AutoRoute checks for your location every 15 seconds and displays it on the map. You can choose to have the map always centred on your current location. Using the GPS Sensor, you can also view the latitude and longitude coordinates of your current location.
To work with AutoRoute, your GPS receiver must be compliant with NMEA (National Marine Electronics Association) standards, and its input/output format (interface) must be set to support the NMEA 0183 version 2.0 or later format. For more details, check the documentation that came with your receiver, or visit http://www.nmea.org/

There's a tiny chance it might run in the PC2002 emulator that Microsoft provides for developers to use when developing & debugging pocket PC apps. |

Infomap navigator works with laptops, and has voice control.

You will need a GPS receiver total cost about £100.
I'm selling mine for £70
works brilliantly |
