hi
I know that this must have been asked before but my search cannot locate anything.Using TT2 gps 3.03,Fortuna clipon and 2210.
When planning a route from navigator screen I get the message as in title continuing "..position is reliable".
At this stage I gave a fix on 6 satellites.
thanks for looking

That message suggest that whilst you have a satellite lock you are not in fact located on a road. As soon as you move to a road it will begin route calculation. _________________ Darren Griffin |

I thought this problem had been addressed in the latest update (ver 3.04T), if you are "off road" a dotted line connects you to the nearest useable road where full navigation starts when you are on it. |

I am running 3.03 and the problem occurs quite regularly (between lockups) although it does start working again after a period between 10 secs and 2 minutes. After 200 -300 miles it does stop altogether and need the TomTom Bluetooth GPS and iPaq2210 need to be rebooted. |
